Security heightened in Delhi for Republic Day

An extra layer of security will be in place around Rajpath to frisk visitors on Republic Day after police received military intelligence inputs that protesters, wearing clothes that carry anti-CAA messages, could attempt to enter the enclosures. If required, a strip search of “suspicious” visitors could be conducted, police said.
