EPCA: Full genset ban in NCR next winter

Next winter, use of diesel generator (DG) sets will not be allowed in Noida, Ghaziabad and Greater Noida in Uttar Pradesh and Faridabad, Gurugram and Manesar in Haryana. This was decided in a meeting of the Supreme Court-appointed Environment Pollution (Prevention & Control) Authority (EPCA) with the authorities of the NCR states.
