72645992Paucity of space in Mumbai metropolitan region (MMR) has forced Central Railway to finalize a location in Bhivpuri, near Karjat, for a car shed for electrical multiple units (EMUs), which run on the suburban system. Bhivpuri is around 85km from CSMT, but CR had no option as MBPT land in Wadala and Bhiwandi Road were not financially or technically viable.
