Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and senior party leader Rahul Gandhi held a meaningful meeting with Bihar leaders to discuss countering the BJP in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and seat-sharing. The Congress wants 9-10 seats to contest and aims to defeat the BJP. The meeting emphasized the importance of working for each of the 40 LS seats in the state. The alliance committee of the Congress will meet on December 29 to decide on seat-sharing.
