Army's evaluation criteria to grant permanent commission for women officers 'arbitrary': Supreme Court

The Supreme Court on Thursday directed the Centre to allow Permanent Commission (PC) to women officers who were excluded from the privilege on the ground of fitness standards saying that the evaluation process was "arbitrary and irrational".
