The weekend didn’t bring any relief to some areas of the city despite the assurance by Delhi Jal Board that normal water supply would be restored by Saturday morning. With only 80% operational capacity restored by the afternoon, tail-end areas like Vasant Kunj, Mehrauli and Tahirpur continued to rely on water tankers.
