Restaurants in Mumbai, closed for over three months following the lockdown, are unlikely to open soon. Even as the state government has drafted a comprehensive standard operating procedure for reopening the 22,000-odd restaurants in the city, the Association of Hotel and Restaurants (Ahar) has insisted on no limit on customers who can be served and a bailout package before resuming operations.
