Cheque fraud case: Banker, middleman held

An employee of a nationalised bank and a middleman were arrested on Monday for alleged involvement in siphoning of Rs 1.4 crore from Lucknow University’s bank account through 14 fake cheques bearing forged signatures in 2017-18.
