Hyderabad encounter: After gunshots, crackers, cheers & crowds

Chatanpally was Ground Zero on Friday as people swarmed all over the village in Mahbubnagar’s Farooqnagar mandal, Telangana. The obscure village of 7,000 people on National Highway 44 was buzzing all through the day. Smaller crowds came early in the morning but multiplied soon after word of the encounter spread.
