18k smart electric meters installed in Bareilly

The Madhyanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (MVVNL) has installed approximately 18,000 ‘smart meters’ in Bareilly city so far this year, which is roughly 10% of total consumers. According to information received from the power department, the city has around 1.82 lakh power consumers.
